Chickens and roosters, oh my! The new guinea hens in town
This box turtle walked almost a mile from the nearest lake to wedge himself beside our fence. The butterfly that adorns this website first landed on our driveway. This hawk (and his family) staked out the backyard.
 

 

  
Our good friend, a Mountain Fiest. A dear came to check if there was any more fruit on the trees. It might be common to see a pigeon in your part of town, but out in the woods, it was quite a surprise!
