Coaching sessions focus on your personal or professional needs, helping you create options, identifying what you need to learn (or unlearn), and establishing priorities and schedules. Topics might include improving you leadership capabilities, finding ways for you to learn fast, expanding your perspective in a new situation, or assessing your strengths in order to move in a new direction. Our coaching relationship can last as short as three months or over a year, based on what you aim to achieve. Coaching can occur on the telephone, over email, in person, or through a combination of means. We will design the time to meet your situation.

How to begin: Write me an email detailing what you're looking for. In the email, include your full contact information, what you are working to achieve, and any other pertinent details that will help me learn why you think I'm the right coach for you. After I review your message, I will contact you by phone or email to set up a mutually agreed up time for us to talk and to answer any questions about the process. In most cases, we'll be able to talk within 10 days of your initial contact.

Fees and details: Prices start at $250 for two telephone-based coaching sessions per month; $500 for four sessions. The sessions are approximately 40 minutes each, but depend more on the topic than by the clock. Email support available between sessions, Tuesday through Friday. Fees for in-person coaching sessions are higher and also include travel expenses. All fees paid in advance. 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. Fees subject to change over time.

Advisory services tap into topical areas where I have specialized knowledge that you aim to gain. For example, if you are a new chief learning officer interested in understanding the human capital landscape I would introduce you to practices and research that would jump-start your impact in your organization. If you're a seasoned non-profit executive director seeking for-profit trends that you might apply to your organization I could help you identify those that would further your organization. If you are a busy parent seeking strategies to integrate your work life and your family life in a healthier way, I can work with you to develop habits and activities that will benefit your whole life. If you're a student (or an educator) looking for customized learning programs I will help you assess your strengths and put into practice strategies that will help you learn more now. Additional topics have included: leadership development, new employee and board of directors orientations, work/family integration, public/private partnerships, business plan development, creating a learning culture, building informal networks, finding your purpose, and many more. Our time together can occur in person, over email, on the phone, or through a combination.

Fees quoted on a project basis, and largely depend on the amount of additional research and summary required, as well as if meetings are over the telephone or in person. Fees for in-person meetings also include travel expenses, are scheduled in 1/2 days or full-days, and will be invoiced prior to meeting based on mutually agreed upon terms.
